Myanmar was an ancient silverwork industry prior to the 13th Century. Loyalty counselors and helpers’ are customarily used in the back bowls of gold and silver, as a reward for the royal family untouched. Only ministers, generals and rich citizens, which is used as the front and silver items, boxes, bowls, flower pots and spittoons, knife sheaths, was a symbol of wealth and materials for the signs and the Silver King belts. Could not afford the monks and Buddha statues and tools used for the poorest, silverware and silver altar during religious purposes, but can’t be used to luxury. In such cases, the events, such as weddings, ceremonies or parties to the novitiate boring, earrings, big silver bowls and vases were used.

“Ngwe -Zin-Baw-Phyu”, making silver bowl, the best type of silver and “Ywet-Ni” is the another grade of silver quality and is obtained from an amalgam composed of the same parts of silver and copper. The silver coins were mostly used during the British regime and now, you can see the most well-known Myanmar silver smith industry at “Inle area” from Shan State in Myanmar.
